ABOUT OUR TANKS
Every time you get on your boat or yacht one of the very first things that comes to your mind is fuel. Whether you've planned a fun day filled with water sports activities, or you're heading out to the open ocean for some deep diving or fishing, or you are simply taking off on a long voyage, having reliable extra fuel is always beneficial. And that is why we created the Techno Tanks Marine Fuel Bladders.
Don't let an empty fuel tank spoil your fun and don't be a victim of bad quality fuel or ultra high fuel prices. Our bladders are manufactured with patented thermoplastic polyurethane with directional molecule technology that provides the optimum properties of flexibility, elasticity, and strength to withstand the most demanding conditions and they are designed to occupy minimal space when not in use as they can be easily stored in any compartment.
Because we care about your ship we manufacture in all white materials to reduce heat absorption and to match the color of most decks and because we care about our Planet, all bladders are made with materials that are 100% recyclable and reusable!
🛥️ Compact, High-Capacity Fuel Storage
Store up to 80 gallons (303 liters) of fuel in a low-profile, space-saving design—ideal for extended offshore trips, emergency refueling, or backup supply.
🔩 Built Tough with Premium Materials
Constructed with reinforced TPU-coated polyester, this bladder offers exceptional resistance to punctures, UV rays, and marine fuel blends—including gasoline, diesel, and kerosene.
⚙️ Easy, Secure Connections
Includes a high-flow ball valve and 1.5" flange opening for fast filling and smooth dispensing. Optional quick-connect fittings make integration with fuel systems effortless.
⛓️ Portable, Foldable, and Lightweight
Unlike rigid tanks, this bladder folds flat when empty for convenient storage. Lightweight enough for easy handling, yet strong enough for rugged use.
🧰 Simple Setup & Maintenance
Quick to deploy on deck, in lockers, or truck beds. Built-in vent prevents pressure buildup. Easy to rinse, dry, and store after use.
🔐 Reliable and Safe in Motion
D-ring guide points let you properly secure the bladder during transport or rough seas, reducing shifting and ensuring safe operation while underway.
🧪 Engineered for Marine Conditions
Tested and rated for long-term marine fuel exposure. Withstands salt, heat, and vibration for worry-free boating in demanding environments.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How resistant are Techno Tanks bladders?
What sizes are available?
Can I connect my bladder tank directly to my engine?
The tanks can be connected directly to the engines as long as you are using the correct fittings and adapters.
Can I get every drop out of the bladder?
Almost all the fuel will be purged. You can aid the process by rolling the tank from the outside towards the outlet fitting.
How do I tie down the bladder?
Techno Tanks bladder tanks are best transported either full or empty. Empty bladders should be collapsed and stored in a vented locker. Full bladders can be tied down to the deck by using the rings located on the top of the tanks.
My tank is stable when fuel. Do I still need to tie i down?
Under most conditions, a full bladder tank will stay put, but in high seas (or turbulent air) bladders can become unstable and shift. With full weights of 150 lbs. to 3000 lbs., it is dangerous to use them if not fully restrained.
Can I mount my fuel bladder below deck?
Coast Guard regulations do not permit in-hull locations. We recommends securely lashing the full bladder above deck for better gravity fuel transfer, safer venting and ease of clean-up should any fuel be spilled during filling.
Do the fuel bladders suffer from weather exposure?
Yes, to some extent. Despite UV additives and hydrolysis stabilizers, rubber and fabric products can take a beating in extremes of sun, cold, dampness and abrasion. When not in use, we recommend storing the drained bladder in a dry and vented locker.
Do you offer an electric fuel pump for transferring gasoline or diesel?
No, we recommends gravity or siphon flow, but Reverso and Jabsco can provide 12V and 24V diesel pumps with explosion-proof motors. Arnold offers a hand siphon pump.
Can I fill the bladder with fuel and carry it to my boat?
No. Full bladders are very hard to grasp and they weigh from 150 to 3000 lbs. We recommend filling them located were they will be used.
Will my bladder tank float if it falls overboard?
Yes, definitely! Fuel is 2/3 the density of water so it will always produce buoyancy. Also, in emergencies, an empty bladder can be lightly filled with air to provide significant buoyancy for personnel and the entire craft.
